Horst Boellmann Per-Fil profile

Company Profile

To know and understand PER-FIL® Industries, you must first know its founder and Chairman, Horst Boellmann. Horst was raised in Germany during World War II. After surviving years of bombing raids, he and his family were forced to leave their home and travel nearly 800 miles to escape from the advancing Russian troops. There was never enough food and no real shelter. These difficult times shaped the man that Horst was to become.

They set up a full-scale trial in their facility with our materials to determine the optimal design and verify performance to our requirements. Alimentos Polar is the largest food manufacturer in Venezuela. In 2006 they purchased a high speed filling line for packaging their Toddy chocolate drink mix. To meet the customer's required fill speed and accuracy, PER-FIL supplied our model MF-6 Six Spindle Auger Filler. This unit fills six (6) containers per cycle, resulting in fill speeds of 90 cpm.
